Hello and welcome to my Teachable school! My name is Lauren and I'm a Canadian Registered Dietitian who specializes in digestive health and IBS.

My course IBS Nutrition Made Simple: 5 Steps to Master the Low FODMAP Diet and Maximize Gut Health is now open for enrollment!

Learn how to use nutrition to manage IBS symptoms!

IBS symptoms can have a major impact on your life and happiness. While there is no cure for IBS, it is possible to use nutrition to manage symptoms and feel good!

The low FODMAP diet is an evidence-based medical diet designed to improve IBS and identify food triggers. FODMAPs are a type of carbohydrate that commonly trigger symptoms in people with IBS. This diet has been shown to help over 3 out of 4 IBS sufferers improve symptoms.

The IBS Nutrition Made Simple course is based on Lauren’s 5 step method for IBS symptom management. It goes beyond the three steps of the classic low FODMAP diet. This course includes:

  • Five self-paced modules with short video lessons
  • Printable workbooks with action steps and space to record your progress
  • Tips for making delicious and tummy friendly meals
  • Lifetime access to the course, including any materials added in the future
  • Plus five low FODMAP recipe ebooks and a 1-week sample meal plan

Meet Your Instructor

Hi there, I’m Lauren, a Registered Dietitian and author with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I was diagnosed in 2014 and used nutrition and the low FODMAP diet to manage symptoms and identify food triggers.

I believe no one should have to suffer alone with IBS. For the past five years I've written about IBS and helped thousands of people learn about the low FODMAP diet.

I have a Master of Public Health in nutrition and I'm registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. My favourite things include raspberries, tea, yoga, reading and corgis!
